To urge the government and the general public to act on this issue, this report have undertaken a holistic, spatially-oriented analysis of the state of pedestrian safety in Hong Kong. Having analysed the location and details of traffic injury collision data provided by the Transport Department (TD), the report identified the key characteristics and spatial clusters of all pedestrian collisions that happened between 2015 and 2019. This report presents our analysis findings, before putting forward a series of policy and design recommendations.
